Prime Pinnacle In Wellington Oak SPC Rigid-Core Plank starts at $3.99/sq ft installed in Fort Myers — a natural oak-toned floor that brings genuine wood character to homes across Southwest Florida. TRUCOR’s Prime collection pairs a realistic Wellington Oak grain with the structural reliability of a rigid core. It’s a practical, good-looking choice for homeowners who want hardwood aesthetics without hardwood’s vulnerabilities.
Wellington Oak’s warm, natural tone suits main living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and open-plan spaces where continuity matters. The 12mm thickness and rigid WPC core sit flat and stable on concrete slab foundations — the standard in Southwest Florida — without the cupping or gapping that wood floors develop in high humidity. The IXPE attached pad adds a layer of give and helps muffle sound between rooms.
The 20 mil wear layer and TRUWEAR™ finish stand up to the sand, grit, and foot traffic that come with coastal living. Because it installs above, on, or below grade, it works equally well in year-round residences and seasonal homes that sit closed through a humid Florida summer.

At $3.99 per square foot installed, Flooring Queen’s price covers material and labor together — no separate line items to reconcile later. That figure includes delivery to your home, removal and disposal of your existing floor covering, standard subfloor preparation, installation of the planks, and fitting of baseboards and transition strips.
A few situations add cost: significant subfloor leveling beyond routine prep, stair nosing installations, and custom layout patterns such as herringbone or diagonal runs. Flooring Queen offers a free in-home measurement visit and a written quote so you know your total before any work begins.
Shoppers drawn to Wellington Oak’s wood look often look at engineered hardwood alongside it. Engineered hardwood delivers genuine wood on the surface — actual grain, real texture — and can be lightly sanded and refinished once or twice over its life. That’s an advantage if surface appearance over decades is the priority.
For Southwest Florida homes, however, the SPC core in Wellington Oak is a more practical fit. Engineered hardwood still contains real wood veneer and underlying plies that respond to moisture swings, making it a risk on concrete slabs or in rooms with any chance of water exposure. Wellington Oak’s rigid core won’t swell, buckle, or telegraph slab moisture. It also comes in at a lower installed price. Engineered hardwood wins on refinishability; Wellington Oak wins on moisture tolerance and cost.

Sweep or vacuum regularly to keep grit from working against the TRUWEAR™ finish — a hard-bristle beater bar can scuff resilient surfaces, so stick to a soft-floor setting or a microfiber mop. For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral vinyl floor cleaner such as Bona Stone, Tile & Laminate or a diluted solution of dish soap and water; avoid anything acidic or solvent-based. Never use a steam mop on this floor — sustained heat and moisture forced into the locking joints can compromise the Valinge 2G click system over time. Wipe up standing water promptly at the perimeter and around transitions where it can seep beneath the floating floor. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.
The Wellington Oak plank itself is 100% waterproof — the rigid WPC core does not absorb water. Standing water on the surface won’t damage the plank. The caution is at seams and edges: prolonged pooling at transitions can migrate beneath a floating floor, so prompt cleanup at those spots is still smart practice.
The 20 mil wear layer on Prime Pinnacle is rated for commercial use, which means it handles pet nails, claws, and daily scrambling better than standard residential vinyl. It won’t be impervious to deep gouges, but normal pet activity and the occasional dropped item are well within what this wear layer is built to take. Dried muddy paw prints clean up with a damp mop.
Prime Pinnacle in Wellington Oak ships with an IXPE pad already bonded to the back of each plank — no separate underlayment purchase needed. That built-in layer softens the feel underfoot, reduces the hollow sound that thin flooring can produce over concrete, and adds a small amount of thermal insulation between the slab and the surface.
At 12 inches wide and 90 inches long, each plank is notably broad and long by flooring standards. That scale reduces the number of seams across any given floor, which reads as calmer and more expansive in open rooms. In smaller spaces it can visually stretch the room. Narrow hallways or very small bathrooms may look better with a tighter layout, something we can walk through during your measure.
Prime Pinnacle Wellington Oak is SPC, which stands for Stone Plastic Composite — a denser, harder core than the foam-based core in traditional LVP. SPC is more dimensionally stable under temperature swings and resists denting better underfoot. Standard LVP is softer and slightly quieter but compresses more easily. For Florida homes on concrete slabs, the added rigidity of SPC is generally the better fit.
In most cases, yes — the Valinge 2G floating click system allows installation directly over existing hard-surface floors like ceramic tile or vinyl sheet, provided the surface is structurally sound, flat, and free of loose pieces. High spots or low spots beyond standard tolerance need to be addressed first. We check for that during the measurement visit and factor any needed prep into your written quote.
We chose every vinyl product in this catalog because it stands up to the realities of Florida living: humidity, sandy substrate, busy households. Flooring Queen installs what we sell, licensed and insured. Free in-home measure: (239) 763-0770.
