Maxxi Floors focuses on two product categories: SPC luxury vinyl plank and waterproof laminate. SPC — stone plastic composite — uses a rigid mineral core that resists denting and stays flat under foot traffic. That core also makes the plank dimensionally stable, meaning it doesn’t swell or gap the way older floating floors could. The waterproof laminate lines add a wood-look alternative for buyers who prefer the sound and feel of laminate but need moisture resistance.

In the market, Maxxi sits in the accessible mid-range. You’re not paying for boutique branding, but the construction is honest: attached underlayment, embossed-in-register surface textures on most lines, and format options that include large-format tile-look SPC panels. Installing Maxxi Floors in Southwest Florida

Southwest Florida is hard on floors. Humidity runs high for most of the year, slab-on-grade construction is the norm, and a lot of homes cycle between air conditioning and open windows or lanai doors. SPC cores handle that environment better than wood-based products because the mineral composite doesn’t absorb moisture. In our Maxxi installs across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Estero, we’ve found the planks stay flat through the wet season without the gapping or cupping we sometimes see with thinner vinyl products.

One thing we watch on slab installs is subfloor flatness. Maxxi’s rigid core doesn’t hide low spots the way a softer vinyl might — if the slab has dips or ridges, we address those before the planks go down. Done right, these floors perform well in kitchens, living areas, and even screened lanais where humidity and the occasional tracked-in water are facts of life.
