TRUCOR

TRUCOR builds stone-plastic composite (SPC) luxury vinyl that holds up in real homes — and we’ve seen that firsthand. Flooring Queen carries 117 TRUCOR products across three collections, and our crew installs them throughout Fort Myers and the broader Southwest Florida area. If you’re shopping for a rigid-core vinyl that handles moisture, slab subfloors, and Florida’s temperature swings, TRUCOR belongs on your shortlist. About TRUCOR
TRUCOR sits in the upper tier of the SPC luxury vinyl market. Their planks and tile-look products are built on a stone-plastic composite core — denser and more dimensionally stable than standard WPC (wood-plastic composite) vinyl. That rigid core matters because it resists the expansion and contraction that softer vinyl floors can show over time, especially in climates with real humidity.
The surface layer uses embossed textures meant to read like wood grain or natural stone, depending on the collection. Grout-line detail on the tile products is designed into the plank itself, so there’s no actual grout to crack or discolor. TRUCOR products typically carry competitive waterproof warranties, and the brand positions itself toward homeowners who want a step up from builder-grade vinyl without moving into hardwood or porcelain pricing.
Collections from TRUCOR at Flooring Queen
We carry TRUCOR across three distinct collections, each aimed at a different room type or design direction. PRIME is the largest, with 71 wood-look plank options ranging from lighter, natural oaks to deeper, richer tones — it covers the most ground for whole-home projects. TILE brings 36 stone-look options including several Carrara-inspired colorways, built for spaces where you want the look of natural stone without the weight or cost. ALPHA rounds out the lineup with 10 options in warmer, character-forward oak and maple looks.

Installing TRUCOR in Southwest Florida
Southwest Florida is hard on floors. Concrete slab construction, high ambient humidity most of the year, and homes that cycle between air-conditioned interiors and open-air lanais — these conditions expose weaknesses in lesser vinyl products fast. TRUCOR’s SPC core has performed consistently well on the slab installs our crew does throughout Fort Myers and the surrounding area. Because the core is stone-based rather than foam-based, it doesn’t telegraph minor slab imperfections the way softer vinyl can, and we haven’t seen the edge-lifting issues that sometimes show up with thinner LVP in humid conditions.
The tile-look collection is particularly popular in SWFL bathrooms and laundry rooms where homeowners want waterproof performance but prefer not to deal with grout maintenance. We do recommend acclimating the product before installation — even rigid-core vinyl benefits from a day or two in the room — and ensuring proper adhesive or underlayment selection when the slab runs warm, which is common here.
