About CPF Floors

CPF Floors builds in two categories: SPC luxury vinyl plank and waterproof laminate. SPC — stone plastic composite — means the core is rigid, dimensionally stable, and fully waterproof. That construction handles subfloor imperfections better than traditional laminate and doesn’t swell when water sits on it. The waterproof laminate lines, including Inspire Black Edition, Supreme, and Evolve, use a treated core and tight locking profiles to resist moisture at the seams — a step up from standard laminate, though not identical to SPC in flood-resistance terms.

CPF sits in the mid-market range. The collections vary in plank width, wear-layer thickness, and finish texture, so there’s a meaningful difference between a value entry like Project 2.0 and a wider-format line like Spirit XL or Project XL. Across the catalog the embossed textures are consistent and the click-lock systems install cleanly. Nothing exotic, but the specs hold up to what’s printed on the box.

We carry all 12 CPF collections in the Flooring Queen showroom. The three largest — Quick48+ (12 SKUs), Alpha22 (10 SKUs), and Spirit XL (9 SKUs) — cover the most ground. Quick48+ runs a wide color range from industrial looks like Metal Mix to wood-tone classics like Rustic Pine. Alpha22 stays in the neutral coastal palette that sells well here. Spirit XL adds wider planks and softer tones like Creme Brulee for rooms where scale matters. Here’s the full lineup:

Installing CPF Floors in Southwest Florida

Southwest Florida is hard on flooring. High humidity, concrete slabs, and the occasional burst pipe or flooding event from a storm push material performance in ways a climate-controlled showroom never reveals. CPF’s SPC core holds up well in that environment. The rigid construction doesn’t cup or gap when humidity swings between a sealed air-conditioned interior and the wet season outside. On slab — which is nearly every home we install in Fort Myers and Cape Coral — the floating install sits flat and we haven’t seen unusual joint failure on the SPC lines.

The waterproof laminate collections need a little more attention at transitions and doorways. They’re water-resistant at the surface, but if water tracks under a threshold and sits, the core can telegraph it over time. We recommend tight transition strips and a good moisture barrier underneath. For kitchens, laundry rooms, and anywhere pets or pool traffic comes in, we steer customers toward the SPC lines. For living areas and bedrooms on slab, either category performs reliably in our experience.
