About Happy Feet

Happy Feet specializes in SPC — stone plastic composite — luxury vinyl plank. SPC is a rigid-core flooring category known for dimensional stability, meaning the planks resist the expansion and contraction that softer vinyl products can show under temperature swings. The wear layer protects against everyday scratches and scuffs, and the attached underlayment on most SPC planks softens the feel underfoot and reduces sound transmission.

In the market, Happy Feet sits in the mid-tier of the SPC category — not a builder-grade product, but not the most expensive option on the shelf either. That positioning tends to appeal to homeowners doing full-house installations where budget per square foot matters, but who still want a floor that looks credible and holds up. The four collections cover a wide range of wood-look visuals, from reclaimed and rustic to clean contemporary.

The Urban collection is the largest at 24 products — it leans toward contemporary city-inspired colorways. Pinnacle, with 12 products, steps up in design detail and tends to suit more traditional or transitional interiors. Arrival 10 rounds out the practical mid-range options with familiar oak and pine visuals that work across a wide range of home styles.

Installing Happy Feet in Southwest Florida

Southwest Florida is a hard environment for flooring. Slab-on-grade construction is the norm here, which means most floors go down directly over concrete with no crawl space buffer. Concrete in SWFL stays relatively cool and can hold moisture, especially in homes that sit unoccupied with the AC off. SPC like Happy Feet handles that well — the stone plastic composite core does not swell the way wood-based products do when moisture levels shift.

In our installs across Fort Myers and the surrounding area, we’ve found Happy Feet performs consistently in living areas, kitchens, and open-plan spaces where one floor runs through multiple zones. The attached underlayment helps on bare slab where you want a little give underfoot. One thing we watch on any SPC install in SWFL: direct sun through west-facing windows can push surface temperatures high, and like all vinyl products, these planks need proper expansion gaps at walls and thresholds. We account for that on every job.
