Arrival 10 – Antique Oak SPC Rigid-Core Plank starts at $3.99/sq ft installed in Fort Myers — a warm brown, wood-look floor built on Happy Feet’s rigid-core platform. Part of the Arrival 10 collection, it brings an antique oak character to the surface with a painted bevel edge that reads like real hardwood from across the room. It’s a practical choice for Florida homes that need durability without the upkeep of natural wood.
SPC rigid-core construction doesn’t expand and contract the way wood-based floors do, which matters in Southwest Florida where humidity swings hard between rainy and dry seasons. This plank floats over concrete slabs — the dominant foundation type in the region — without the moisture-related movement issues that plague thinner vinyl products. The click-lock system means no glue and no nails, and the 10 mm overall thickness adds enough mass to feel solid underfoot.
The AC4 wear classification puts this floor in commercial-light to residential-heavy territory, making it a reasonable pick for rental properties, snowbird homes that sit unoccupied for stretches, or busy households with kids and dogs. Coastal conditions — salt air, sandy foot traffic, the occasional wet swimsuit on the floor — are well within what this product is rated to handle.
| Construction | Water Resistant HDF |

Flooring Queen installs Arrival 10 – Antique Oak at $3.99 per square foot, and that price covers the full scope of a standard job: material delivery, removal of your existing floor covering, routine subfloor preparation, the installation itself, new baseboards, and transition strips between rooms. Old flooring debris gets removed from the property — you don’t need to coordinate a separate haul.
Certain site conditions will add to that base price. If your subfloor needs significant leveling work, or if you’re adding stair nosing, requesting a herringbone layout, or incorporating custom border work, those are quoted as line-item upcharges. The way to get a firm number is to schedule Flooring Queen’s free in-home measure — a written quote with no surprises gets handed to you before any work is scheduled.
Shoppers drawn to the antique oak look often consider engineered hardwood as an alternative. Engineered hardwood offers genuine wood on the surface — real grain, real texture — and it can be lightly refinished once or twice over its life. That’s a meaningful advantage if you want the option to sand out scratches years down the road.
Where SPC has the edge is in moisture tolerance. Engineered hardwood still has a wood core that reacts to humidity and standing water; SPC does not. In a Florida home — especially over a slab, near a kitchen, or in a bathroom — the SPC rigid core is simply more forgiving. It also comes in at a lower installed price point. If you’re set on real wood grain, engineered hardwood is worth a look; if durability and moisture resistance come first, Arrival 10 is the stronger call.
| Arrival 10 – Antique Oak | Engineered Hardwood | |
|---|---|---|
| Water resistance | Waterproof rigid core | Moisture-sensitive wood core |
| Scratch resistance / wear layer | AC4 commercial-light rating | Finish-dependent; varies by species |
| Comfort underfoot | Firm; 10 mm total thickness | Slightly warmer feel, natural wood flex |
| Installed price | $3.99/sq ft installed | ~$8.99/sq ft installed |
| Best room | Kitchens, baths, living areas | Living areas, bedrooms, low-moisture rooms |
Sweep or dry-mop Arrival 10 regularly to clear the fine sand and grit that Florida homes collect quickly — that abrasive debris is what dulls the wear layer faster than anything else. For routine cleaning, use a pH-neutral vinyl floor cleaner such as Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner or a diluted solution of dish soap and water; avoid acidic cleaners, solvent-based products, and anything with bleach. Do not use a steam mop on this floor — the heat and pressurized moisture can work into the locking joints over time and cause the planks to lift or separate. A microfiber mop is the right tool for damp cleaning. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.
The SPC rigid core in Arrival 10 is waterproof, so pooled water won’t swell or buckle the plank itself. The important caveat: water that sits long enough to seep beneath the floor can affect the subfloor underneath. Clean up spills and leaks promptly, and the floor itself should be fine.
Arrival 10 carries an AC4 wear-layer rating, which falls in the commercial-light tier and resists everyday pet scratching well. Cleanup of muddy paws or accidents is straightforward — the surface doesn’t absorb liquids. Very large dogs with untrimmed nails can still leave marks over time, but AC4 is one of the more durable ratings available in this category.
Arrival 10 is SPC (Stone Plastic Composite), which has a denser, more rigid core than traditional LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank). That rigidity means it resists denting under heavy furniture better, lies flatter over minor subfloor imperfections, and feels more substantial underfoot. Standard LVP is thinner and more flexible — fine for lighter use, but SPC is the more durable construction.
Happy Feet’s Arrival 10 collection carries manufacturer warranty coverage typical of residential SPC products in this tier — covering manufacturing defects and finish performance under normal residential use. Specific term lengths aren’t listed in the published spec sheet; ask your Flooring Queen rep for the current written warranty document before purchase so you know exactly what’s covered.
Flooring Queen installs Arrival 10 throughout Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral and Naples, as well as surrounding communities. If you’re not sure whether your address falls in the service area, a quick call to the showroom will confirm it — most of Lee and Collier County is covered on a routine basis.
Arrival 10 works well in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms — essentially anywhere in a standard residential floor plan. Because it’s a floating click-lock installation, it’s not the right choice for below-grade spaces with active moisture intrusion from the ground up. In Southwest Florida, true below-grade basements are rare, so that limitation rarely applies.
