Cyrus 2.0 Lenexa Creek Luxury Vinyl Planks SPC Rigid-Core Plank starts at $3.99 per square foot installed in Fort Myers — a natural-toned wood-look floor built for the demands of coastal Florida living. MSI Surfaces designed this 5mm rigid-core plank under the Cyrus 2.0 collection with a 20-mil wear layer that stands up where daily life is hardest. The Lenexa Creek colorway reads warm and organic, fitting easily with the relaxed, open interiors common across Southwest Florida.
SPC rigid-core construction means a stone-plastic composite core that won’t expand and contract under Florida’s humidity swings the way wood-based products can. That makes Lenexa Creek a natural fit for any room in the house — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, even below-grade areas — and it sits directly over the concrete slabs common throughout Fort Myers and Cape Coral without needing a separate moisture barrier.
The 20-mil wear layer resists the sandy grit tracked in from beaches and patios, and it holds up in vacation homes that sit empty through a humid summer. Salt-air exposure near the coast won’t compromise the core. If you run short-term or long-term rentals, the commercial-grade wear layer keeps the floor looking presentable through frequent tenant turnover.

Flooring Queen installs Cyrus 2.0 Lenexa Creek at $3.99 per square foot, and that price covers more than just laying planks. It includes delivery to your home, removal of the existing floor covering, standard subfloor prep, the installation itself, new baseboard replacement, transition strips between rooms, and removal of all job-site debris when we leave.
Certain conditions carry an additional charge: significant subfloor leveling beyond a minor skim coat, stair nosing, intricate diagonal or herringbone patterns, and custom border work. We offer a free in-home measurement so you get a written quote with no surprises before any work begins.
Engineered hardwood gives you a real wood surface — genuine veneer you can see and feel — and in low-humidity, conditioned spaces it looks hard to beat. But Florida’s climate is unforgiving to wood-based products. Even engineered hardwood can cup or gap in rooms with fluctuating humidity, and it is not waterproof. A pet accident or a slow appliance leak left unnoticed can cause permanent damage.
Lenexa Creek SPC costs roughly half the installed price of most engineered hardwood options, handles full moisture exposure without risk of swelling, and carries a longer commercial warranty. Where engineered hardwood wins: authentic wood grain and the option to lightly sand and refinish the veneer over time. Where SPC wins: moisture immunity, durability under heavy use, and a lower upfront cost.

Sweep or dust-mop daily to remove the sandy grit that’s everywhere in Southwest Florida — it acts like sandpaper on the wear layer if left to grind underfoot. For routine cleaning, a damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner like Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner or a comparable LVP-safe formula works well; avoid anything acidic or oil-based. Never use a steam mop on SPC — the sustained heat can warp the core or loosen the locking joints over time. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads, and steer clear of wax or polish products, which leave a residue the wear layer doesn’t need and can’t absorb. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.
Cyrus 2.0 Lenexa Creek is genuinely waterproof — the SPC core does not absorb moisture, so standing water on the surface won’t swell or warp the plank itself. That said, water that sits long enough to work under baseboards or into subfloor seams is a different issue. Clean up spills and floods promptly to protect what’s around the floor, not the floor itself.
The 20-mil wear layer on this plank is rated for light commercial use, which means it handles pet claws, sliding food bowls, and the general chaos of dogs far better than thinner residential-grade vinyl. Cleanup is straightforward — the surface doesn’t absorb pet messes. Deep gouges from very large, active dogs are still possible, but everyday wear should stay invisible for years.
This SPC plank is appropriate for every room in a standard home — living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms all work well. It installs comfortably on concrete slab, which covers most Florida homes. The only areas where we’d pause are enclosed outdoor spaces without climate control, where extreme heat buildup could stress the locking system over time.
A single room typically takes one day or less. A full home install usually runs two to three days depending on square footage, the number of transitions between spaces, and whether any subfloor work is needed first. SPC floating installation is relatively efficient, so there’s no adhesive cure time to wait out before you can walk on the floor.
MSI Surfaces backs Lenexa Creek with a Lifetime Limited Residential warranty, a 15-year Limited Light Commercial warranty, and a 10-year Limited Commercial warranty. Residential coverage is the strongest tier and protects against manufacturing defects for the life of the floor in your home. Review MSI’s warranty document for specific exclusions around installation conditions and maintenance requirements.
