Naos Lienzo SPC Rigid-Core Plank starts at $3.99 per square foot installed in Fort Myers — a natural-toned floor from Alon Floors’ Compac+ Collection built for homes that need real durability without sacrificing a clean, understated look. At 6 mm thick with a 7-inch-wide plank and 60-inch length, it reads like a genuine wood floor but performs like a workhorse.
Southwest Florida’s combination of slab foundations, high humidity, and salt air makes a fully waterproof rigid core worth the investment. Naos Lienzo’s 100% waterproof polymer core won’t swell or buckle when moisture migrates up from a concrete slab — a common issue in coastal construction here.
The 1.5 mm EVA attached pad softens the hard-slab feel underfoot, making it genuinely comfortable for barefoot living. The 20-mil wear layer holds up in high-traffic zones, and the commercial-rated construction means it also handles rental properties and snowbird homes that sit closed and humid for months at a stretch.

Flooring Queen installs Naos Lienzo at $3.99 per square foot. That price covers everything a standard job requires: material delivery, removal of your current floor covering, surface prep on a level substrate, installation, baseboards, and transition strips. Old flooring debris is loaded and removed from the property — nothing left behind.
Certain scopes do carry upcharges. Significant subfloor leveling, stair nosing, intricate inlay patterns, or custom border work are quoted separately. Every project starts with a free in-home measurement and a written estimate so you know exactly what the job will cost before any work begins.
Naos Lienzo costs $3.99 per square foot installed; comparable engineered hardwood typically runs $8.99 or more. That’s a real difference, especially on larger open-plan floors common in Southwest Florida homes.
Engineered hardwood can be refinished once or twice, which adds longevity if the surface gets deeply scratched over many years. But it is not fully waterproof — moisture infiltration from concrete slabs or flooding remains a genuine risk. Naos Lienzo’s rigid polymer core is 100% waterproof through and through, requires no refinishing, and resists the humidity swings that shorten the life of wood-based floors in coastal climates. If the visual warmth of wood is the goal, both products deliver it; if moisture exposure or budget is the deciding factor, SPC wins clearly.
| Naos Lienzo | Engineered Hardwood | |
|---|---|---|
| Water resistance | 100% waterproof core | Moisture-sensitive; not waterproof |
| Scratch resistance / wear layer | 20-mil commercial wear layer | Depends on species & finish; can refinish |
| Comfort underfoot | 1.5 mm EVA pad attached | Warmer feel; can add underlayment |
| Installed price | $3.99 per sq ft installed | ~$8.99 per sq ft installed |
| Best room | Any room incl. baths, slabs | Above-grade rooms; avoid wet areas |
Sweep or vacuum on a hard-floor setting — avoid a beater-bar attachment, which can scuff the wear layer over time. For mopping, use a damp (not wet) mop with a pH-neutral cleaner; brands like Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner work well and won’t leave a film. Never use a steam mop on SPC — the concentrated heat can compromise the click joints and cause planks to separate. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or solvent-based cleaners. Wipe up spills promptly even though the core is waterproof, because standing water sitting in seams can work into the subfloor below. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.
Naos Lienzo has a 100% waterproof polymer rigid core, meaning water won’t swell or warp the plank itself. Surface spills and even minor flooding won’t ruin the floor. The one caveat: prolonged standing water in seams can eventually reach the subfloor below, so prompt cleanup is still good practice.
The 20-mil wear layer on Naos Lienzo is rated for commercial use, which puts it well above what most residential pets dish out. Everyday claw traffic and the occasional excited scramble across the floor won’t cut through it. Cleanup from accidents is straightforward — the waterproof core means no staining or odor absorption into the plank.
SPC — stone polymer composite — has a rigid mineral-filled core, which is denser and more dimensionally stable than the flexible PVC core in traditional LVP. Naos Lienzo is SPC, so it resists denting under heavy furniture, holds its shape through temperature swings, and installs flatter over minor subfloor imperfections that flexible LVP might telegraph.
Flooring Queen installs Naos Lienzo throughout the region, including Cape Coral and Naples as well as Bonita Springs, Estero, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. If you’re unsure whether your address falls in our service area, just call — we cover a wide footprint and can usually confirm same day.
Naos Lienzo’s rigid polymer core is notably stable through the humidity and temperature cycling that hits unoccupied Southwest Florida homes every summer. Unlike wood-based floors that cup or gap when the AC is off, SPC holds its shape well. Keeping the home at a moderate temperature rather than shutting the system off entirely will extend the life of any flooring, but this product is among the more forgiving options for seasonal use.
In many cases, yes — Naos Lienzo floats via the Valinge angle-click system and doesn’t require adhesive, so it can go over sound, flat existing tile or vinyl. The key word is flat: any grout lines or height variations above about 3⁄16 inch need to be addressed first. We check substrate conditions at the measure appointment and let you know exactly what prep, if any, is needed before install day.
We chose every vinyl product in this catalog because it stands up to the realities of Florida living: humidity, sandy substrate, busy households. Flooring Queen installs what we sell, licensed and insured. Free in-home measure: (239) 763-0770.
