Sweep or vacuum regularly using a hard-floor setting — skip the beater bar, which can scuff the finish over time. For damp mopping, use a pH-neutral cleaner such as Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner or a product specifically labeled safe for luxury vinyl; avoid anything acidic, oil-based, or solvent-heavy. Steam mops are not compatible with SPC planks — the sustained heat can loosen the locking joints and void the warranty. The important caveat: water that gets beneath the floor through gaps at the perimeter can sit under the planks, so perimeter caulking and proper transitions matter as much as the plank itself.
