Tile With Cgt In Marble Haven SPC Tile starts at $3.99 per square foot installed in Fort Myers — an ivory-toned marble-look SPC tile from TRUCOR’s TILE collection that brings a white field with soft veining to floors without the weight or cost of natural stone.

What Tile With Cgt In Marble Haven SPC Tile is built for

At 6.0 mm thick with an attached TRUCOR IXPE pad, this tile is designed to float over concrete slab foundations — the standard substrate in Southwest Florida homes. The 100% waterproof SPC core handles the humidity that moves through coastal and inland homes alike, and the floating I4F click system accommodates minor slab movement without cracking or lifting.

The 20 mil wear layer (0.5 mm) and TRUWEAR™ finish hold up under the foot traffic typical of open-plan living spaces, rental properties, and snowbird homes that cycle between seasons. At 16″ x 32″, this is a large-format tile format that works across living rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens — anywhere you want a clean, continuous look on a slab.

Installed pricing in Fort Myers & Southwest Florida

Flooring Queen installs this SPC tile at $3.99 per square foot throughout Southwest Florida. That price covers measurement, delivery, removal of the existing floor covering, surface prep for a standard slab, installation of the tile itself, baseboards, and transition strips between rooms. Debris and old material are loaded out before we leave.

Some scopes run higher: significant floor leveling on an uneven slab, custom layout patterns like herringbone or diagonal, stair nosing, or unusually tight cuts around cabinetry. Those situations get documented during your free in-home measure, and we put the full scope in writing before any work begins.

How Tile With Cgt In Marble Haven SPC Tile compares

Both products target the same marble-look aesthetic, and at a glance they’re nearly indistinguishable. The real differences show up in installation and daily use. Porcelain is harder — genuinely scratch-proof against sharp objects — but it requires setting mortar, grout, and professional leveling that drives installed costs up. It also feels cold underfoot and can crack on a slab that shifts. This SPC tile floats without adhesive or grout, installs above, on, or below grade, and delivers a fully waterproof floor at a meaningfully lower installed price. Porcelain wins on raw hardness and heat resistance. The SPC tile wins on installed cost, comfort, speed of installation, and tolerance for slab imperfections common in Fort Myers construction.

Care & maintenance

Sweep or dry-mop regularly to keep sand and grit — common in Southwest Florida homes — from acting as an abrasive underfoot. For damp cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner such as Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner or a diluted dish soap; avoid acidic or ammonia-based products, which can dull the TRUWEAR™ finish over time. Never use a steam mop on this floor — the heat and pressure can compromise the click joints and delaminate the pad. The Ceragrout edge profile mimics real grout lines but requires no sealing, which removes one routine maintenance step entirely. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.

Frequently asked questions

Does the grout-look edge on this tile need to be sealed like real grout does?

No — the Ceragrout edge is part of the SPC tile itself, not actual grout, so there’s nothing to seal. Real grout is porous and typically needs a penetrating sealer applied at installation and re-sealed every one to three years; this product skips that step entirely.

What does the 16 by 32 inch size mean for how the floor actually looks once it’s down?

A 16″ x 32″ tile is a large-format size that creates fewer grout lines (or in this case, fewer Ceragrout seams), which makes rooms read as more open and continuous. It also requires a reasonably flat slab — TRUCOR’s I4F floating system accommodates minor variation, but lippage becomes more visible at larger tile sizes if the substrate has significant dips.

Will this floor feel noticeably cold underfoot in winter, the way real marble or porcelain can?

Not to the same degree. The attached IXPE pad provides thermal break between the SPC core and the slab, which makes it noticeably warmer underfoot than porcelain or natural stone. In Southwest Florida, where winter temperatures rarely drop far, this is a minor concern — but the pad does make a difference on early mornings on a concrete slab.

What does the warranty actually cover on this floor?

TRUCOR provides a Limited Lifetime Residential warranty and a 15-Year Commercial warranty on this product. Warranty documentation is available for download through TRUCOR and covers manufacturing defects; coverage terms for wear, staining, and fading depend on proper installation and maintenance per TRUCOR’s published guidelines.

Can this tile go directly over my existing vinyl or tile floor, or does the old material have to come out first?

It depends on the condition and height of what’s already there. The I4F floating system is designed to install above, on, or below grade, and can sometimes float over a stable existing surface — but loose, damaged, or heavily cushioned floors typically need to come up first. We assess the existing floor during your in-home measurement and confirm the right approach in writing.

How does this floor hold up in a home that sits empty for several months at a time?

SPC construction handles seasonal vacancy well. The rigid stone-plastic composite core doesn’t expand and contract the way wood-based floors do when a home cycles between air-conditioned and unoccupied states. For best results, keep the home’s climate control set to at least 60°F year-round — extreme heat buildup in a closed-up Southwest Florida home can stress any floating floor over time.
