Specifications

Tile With Cgt In Marble Mirage SPC Tile starts at $3.99/sq ft installed in Fort Myers — a light gray marble-look floor from TRUCOR’s Tile with CGT collection that pairs the soft, veined character of natural stone with the resilience of rigid-core vinyl. The 12×24 format and Ceragrout edge finish give it the proportions and clean grout lines of real tile, without the weight or porosity of porcelain.

What Tile With Cgt In Marble Mirage SPC Tile is built for

Southwest Florida homes are hard on flooring. High humidity, concrete slab construction, and salt air near the coast make moisture resistance a baseline requirement, not a bonus. Marble Mirage’s SPC core won’t swell, warp, or telegraph moisture the way natural stone or wood-based products can — and the I4F floating install goes directly on slab above, on, or below grade.

The TRUWEAR finish and 20 mil wear layer hold up against sandy, gritty foot traffic common in coastal and lakefront homes. For snowbird properties and short-term rentals that sit unoccupied in summer heat and see heavy turnover the rest of the year, this product’s dimensional stability and surface durability are genuine practical advantages.

Installed pricing in Fort Myers & Southwest Florida

Flooring Queen installs Marble Mirage SPC Tile at $3.99 per square foot, all in. That covers delivery to your home, removal of your existing floor covering, standard subfloor prep, the full tile installation, baseboard reinstallation, transition strips between rooms, and cleanup and removal of all job debris when we’re done.

Some work falls outside that base price: heavy leveling on significantly uneven concrete, stair nosing, intricate herringbone or custom-border layouts, and anything requiring specialty moisture barriers beyond standard prep. Call or book online and Flooring Queen will send a measuring tech to your home at no charge, followed by a written itemized quote before any work begins.

How Tile With Cgt In Marble Mirage SPC Tile compares

Shoppers who want a marble look naturally consider real porcelain tile, and it’s a fair comparison. Porcelain is harder, more scratch-resistant at the surface, and can feel more upscale to buyers if you’re planning to sell. It also tolerates outdoor use and handles standing water indefinitely. Where it loses ground: porcelain installs over $8.99 per square foot with Flooring Queen, requires a mortar bed, and adds meaningful weight to a slab. The grout lines need sealing and periodic maintenance. Marble Mirage floats without adhesive, installs faster, and the IXPE pad delivers noticeably more cushion underfoot — a real difference on a hard Florida slab over long periods.

Care & maintenance

Sweep or vacuum on the hard-floor setting — avoid a rotating beater bar, which can scuff the TRUWEAR finish over time. Damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner such as Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner or a diluted Rejuvenate formula; avoid acidic or ammonia-based products, which can dull the surface. Do not use a steam mop — repeated high-heat steam can compromise the click joints and the IXPE pad beneath the planks. The Ceragrout edge is decorative, not actual grout, so no sealing is required on the tile itself. Wipe up spills promptly, and use felt pads under furniture legs to protect the wear layer. For technical guidance, see the World Floor Covering Association vinyl flooring guide.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Ceragrout edge mean I have real grout lines that need sealing?

No — the Ceragrout edge on Marble Mirage is a designed feature of the tile itself, not actual cement grout, so no sealing is required. You get the look of a grouted joint without the porosity or maintenance. That said, if your installer uses a matching grout-style caulk at perimeter transitions, those may benefit from a light application of a silicone-based sealer over time.

The tiles are 12 by 24 — how does that size affect layout and the finished look?

A 12×24 format reads as large-format tile, which visually opens up a room and reduces the number of grout lines in the field. SPC tiles at this size require a flat substrate — TRUCOR’s guidelines recommend no more than 3/16″ variation over 10 feet. A proper staggered offset (typically one-third rather than half) minimizes lippage risk on longer edges and gives the install a cleaner, more intentional appearance.

Does Flooring Queen install this product in Cape Coral and Bonita Springs, or just Fort Myers?

Flooring Queen installs Marble Mirage throughout Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero, Naples, and surrounding communities. If you’re outside the immediate Fort Myers area, call the showroom and we’ll confirm your address falls within our service zone — most of Lee and Collier County does.

Which rooms is this tile really suited for, and are there any spaces where it shouldn’t go?

Marble Mirage is rated for above-, on-, and below-grade installation, which means it works in every level of a home — living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and even below-grade bonus spaces. Because it’s a floating floor, it’s not ideal for saunas or enclosed steam showers with direct water contact on the field. It performs well in every other residential application.

My existing floor is old vinyl — does it need to come up before Marble Mirage goes down?

Whether the old floor stays or goes depends on its condition, not just its material type. Marble Mirage floats using the I4F click system and can go over a smooth, structurally sound existing floor — but any high spots, loose sections, or height conflicts at transitions have to be addressed first. Our measuring tech will evaluate the existing surface during the free home visit and flag anything that needs correction before installation.

What does it actually cost to maintain this floor year to year — any special cleaners or recurring service fees?

Ongoing costs for Marble Mirage are minimal. A pH-neutral hard-floor cleaner — widely available for under $15 a bottle — is all you need for regular mopping. There’s no refinishing, no re-coating, and no professional cleaning service required under normal residential use. The only recurring investment is felt pad replacement under furniture, which runs a few dollars annually.
