Specifications

Bali Engineered Hardwood is a wide-plank European White Oak floor with a wirebrushed cream finish that reads clean without feeling cold. It comes from LW Flooring’s Paradise Island collection, built around relaxed coastal aesthetics. The low color variation keeps the look consistent room to room, while the micro-beveled edges give each board a defined, hand-crafted feel.

What Bali Engineered Hardwood is built for

Bali has a wide European White Oak surface and a 5/8-inch engineered construction. Its suitability for a particular slab and indoor environment depends on the current LW Flooring installation requirements and a site assessment.

Bali’s cream tone and wide planks can suit open living spaces and bedrooms. A glue-down method does not itself stop slab moisture; our crew will assess moisture conditions and any separately quoted mitigation before installation.

How Bali Engineered Hardwood compares

Bali has a real wood surface over an engineered core. Solid and engineered hardwood have different installation requirements; our crew will check the manufacturer guidance and measured slab conditions before recommending a method.

Bali has a 4 mm veneer listed by LW Flooring, but veneer thickness alone does not establish a refinishing allowance. Ask for current manufacturer guidance and a qualified assessment before planning any sanding or recoating.

Frequently asked questions

How long does Bali need to sit in the house before it can go down?

Acclimation and indoor-condition requirements for Bali depend on the current LW Flooring instructions and site conditions. Our crew will confirm those requirements before scheduling and installing.

Can this floor be sanded down and refinished at some point?

Do not infer a sanding or recoating allowance from Bali’s 4 mm veneer. Confirm the current LW Flooring guidance and have the floor assessed before planning refinishing.

Will this hold up on a concrete slab, which is what most homes here are built on?

The approved installation method and any moisture barrier, vapor-control adhesive, or mitigation depend on the manufacturer’s instructions and measured slab conditions. Required extras are listed separately in the written quote.

What’s the install timeline for a project like this, are we talking days or weeks?

Installation time and any adhesive cure or no-traffic period depend on the approved method, site conditions, and product instructions. The written installation plan will set those details for your home.

Does real wood flooring actually move the needle on a home sale in this market?

Bali offers the look of real European White Oak. Resale value depends on the home’s condition and local market; ask a qualified appraiser rather than assuming a flooring material will raise the appraisal.

What does it actually cost to keep this floor looking good year after year?

Sweep grit and follow the current LW Flooring care instructions for Bali. Any future professional maintenance or recoating depends on the finish and manufacturer guidance; ask for an assessment instead of assuming a fixed schedule or price.
